Tuesday Night Under the Lights

We travel to Airbus on Tuesday night which is the re-arranged home game from New Years Day. I would like to just explain the circumstances with us playing at Airbus; due to the club not having floodlights and the league refusing to extend the season, we have been forced to move the game away from the Ring. We were offered different venues to potentially host the fixture, but at a cost. Airbus offered to host the game and we receive the gate money. The club made the decision to do this as this is the best financial option for the club.

We travel to a very, very good side and we understand the task ahead of us. I thought we were excellent in the cup game last month and deserved to go in at half time level. Their quality shone through in the second half and did enough to beat us. We will have a game plan to stifle them and be hard to beat as we have done against sides towards the top end of the league this season.

We hope to have a couple of players return for the game which will bolster the quality in the squad and playing on an astro will hopefully help with the way that we want to play. We will go there and give them a good go and see what happens.

We hope to see the Welly fans in Broughton for the game. Up the Welly!
