Next up …. The Seasiders

We welcome Prestatyn to the Ring on Saturday for our penultimate home game of the season. We hope that Saturdays game is a little better than the disaster-class we had at their place in September which I can say was the most bizarre game of football I've ever been involved in. Since then, both teams look very different and hopefully it'll be a good game and one we can take maximum points from.

The way Saturday finished at Caersws was gut-wrenching, to lose it on the last kick of the game really hurt the players; we lead twice in the game and had plenty of opportunities to kill the game off but didn't, probably, the story of the season. However, although you never want to lose a game of football, I was really pleased with the performance and just wish we could get our rewards of 3 points. Unfortunately, midfielder Mikey Wright suffered a groin strain which we have been assessing since and is touch and go for Saturday. We have a few players out injured which is a shame but we hope to see Cavan Daley back with us in the next week or so, he's been a big loss for us in midfield since tearing his hamstring.

Well done to the Reserves who beat TNS Reserves on Saturday at the Ring. A brace from Max Peate and a goal each from the Richardson brothers moved the Reserves into 7th position in the league. Commiserations to the U17s who lost 2-1 to Lex 17s in the NEWFA 19s cup, Harry Nevitt with the goal.

Our last three 1st team fixtures are as follows;

Prestatyn (H) - Saturday 29th March 2pm
Denbigh (A) - Friday 4th April 7.45pm - Central Park LL16 3EW
Guilsfield (H) - Saturday 12th April 2.30pm

Your support is appreciated and the team will fight for the badge until the last day. Up the Welly!
