Home game vs Airbus … Away at Colwyn Bay… confused? so are we!

We welcome Airbus to Colywn Bay for our Tuesday night home game. Again. hopefully for the last time I will explain the circumstances. We were meant to host Airbus at the Ring on New Years Day but the game was postponed. We were then meant to play them at Airbus, but the league cancelled due to sporting integrity and now it has been moved to Colwyn Bay, the ground of Airbus' title rivals. This is not ideal for us, but, considerably better than the game being at Bangor or Cearnarfon which the league fixtures secretary had agreed on, for our home game, on a Tuesday night. The key word that the league have been using let's not forget is, 'integrity'.

We were excellent at Penrhyncoch last Tuesday and unfortunate to not come away with something in the game after 2 massive chances. The 17 who were available were a credit to the club. Unfortunately, on the injury front, it looks like Luke Griffins season is over with suffering ankle ligament damage in that game. A shame because Luke has played every game since I've been in charge and his attitude and performances have been first class. However, we see the return of Sammy Lestrange and Ruben Lima after a kidney infection and thigh injuries which gives us a big boost. Having Mikey Wright back has been like a new signing and adds quality and steel in midfield and lastly just a big well done to Pat, Harry Roberts, Zac Jones, Jay Davies and Ethan Davies from the U17 who were all involved in Tuesday nights game.

We have a strong 18 man squad available for tomorrow night and as always, we will have a game plan to try and eliminate their threats and expose their perceived weaknesses. We will go there and have a good go and see what happens. There is still plenty of fight left in the changing room and we won't go down without a fight in each game.

We will appreciate all the supporters who travel tomorrow night. Your support has been brilliant this season and it's appreciated. Up the Welly
