Preview ahead of tomorrows cup game away at Connahs Quay Town from First team manager Neill Hughes

Really looking forward to getting started in the Welsh Cup tomorrow. There has been a lot of hard work from everyone around the club to get us ready for the new campaign – I’d like to thank everyone for their welcome and support. Off the back of what looks to have been a strong preseason, it’s time to see where we are at competitively. We have a great balance of old and new players who have really come together well and delivered some outstanding performances. The squad has become stronger as each week has passed and it now feels like we are ready. Connahs Quay Town are under new management also. I know Gary well and know his side will be very fit, technical and tactically prepared. He has a good balance of youth and experience - This is a tough opener and one we will look forward to.
